Why Waterloo Region?
Located only 45 minutes by car from Toronto, and nestled in the beautiful countryside between Waterloo Region and Guelph, students at SJK enjoy all the beauty of the countryside and the conveniences of city life. This region is called Canada's Technology Triangle, due to the extensive amount of technology companies who call Waterloo Region home. Waterloo was voted 'The World's Most Intelligent Community' in 2007 by the Intelligent Community Forum.
Due to our location within 20km of three of Canada's top universities, SJK works in partnership with the University of Guelph, Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Waterloo. Many of our Upper School students take university courses while still attending SJK. Students from SJK also represent the school at a variety of elite camps and programs offered by the universities.
