Planned Giving
By supporting St. John's-Kilmarnock School with a planned gift today, you help ensure that SJK remains strong in the future. A planned gift is a charitable donation that you plan for during your lifetime and will not be available to SJK until some time in the future.
Examples of Planned Gifts include:
Bequests
This gift, made through your will, is the most common type of planned gift. Arranged today, a bequest is not paid to SJK until after your death. You can give a specific sum, or property, or a percentage of your estate.
Charitable gift annuities
This is the gift that keeps on giving. Charitable gift annuities enable you to make and immediate gift to SJK and receive guaranteed income for life.
Gifts of life insurance
A gift of life insurance allows you to make a modest gift now for the significant gift in the future.
Charitable remainder trusts
This gift is invested to give you an ongoing income with the capital going to SJK upon death.
