Examples of Planned Gifts include:
- Bequests (a gift noted in your will)
- Charitable gift annuities (a gift you make to SJK and receive regular payments from)
- Gifts of life insurance (you take out a policy with SJK as the beneficiary)
- Charitable remainder trusts (another giving mechanism through your will)
Bequests
This gift, made through your will, is the most common type of planned gift. Arranged today, a bequest is not paid to SJK until after your death. You can give a specific sum, or property, or a percentage of your estate.
Charitable gift annuities
This is the gift that keeps on giving. Charitable gift annuities enable you to make an immediate gift to SJK and receive guaranteed income for life.
Gifts of life insurance
A gift of life insurance allows you to make a modest gift now for the significant gift in the future.
Charitable remainder trusts
This gift is invested to give you an ongoing income with the capital going to SJK upon death.
