SJK Strategic Plan 2010-2014
Approved in the spring of 2010, the SJK Strategic Plan reinforces our mission and values and sets out a clear vision as to our desired future.  Specifically it captures six key strategic areas including Programme Enhancement, Financial Strength, Capital Development, Community Partnerships, Organizational Excellence and Marketing.  Each of these areas outlines specific strategic actions and a timeline for priority and implementation is to be prepared on an annual basis.  Through this plan, SJK will aim to have achieved the following core priorities by 2014:

  • The implementation of the International Baccalaureate (IB) at all school levels with developed and recognized centres of excellence throughout school life.
  • Financial strength and increased access to SJK through scholarship and bursary programmes and a revitalized foundation.
  • Extended facilities to meet priorities and programmes including community dining and new and sustainable learning and resource areas that replace existing temporary structures.
  • Developed partnerships, regionally and internationally, giving students unparalleled learning opportunities and market positioning for the School.

These four areas are based on a strategic foundation of delivering organizational excellence, communications and increasing our student base as the school of choice in the Waterloo and Guelph regions.
