Families who have children in JK-Grade 5 may register their children for SJK's After Care programme (Grade 6 students may attend as requested). This service offers both supervised active play and structured programming on a weekly basis Monday to Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.  Grade 5/6 students may be assigned as a helper as part of the Lower School Leadership program.

 Typically, children will meet in a central location at 3:30 p.m. for attendance and be provided with a light healthy snack.  As of 4:00 p.m., the Lower School playground is restricted to after care students.  Students will normally have one of the following structured activities offered to them on any given evening in addition to free play;

1. Craft
2. Organized sport or game
3. Outdoor activities
4. Story/Interactive IT

 Children will be supervised and have activities organized by a qualified Early Childhood Educator.
