Mrs. Shauna Biffis

Mrs. Shauna Biffis grew up in Guelph and attended Wilfrid Laurier University for her post-secondary studies. She began her career path working for Special Services at Home, supporting individuals with a developmental or physical disabilities. This led Mrs. Biffis to SJK in 2006. where she worked with students that had learning support needs.

Mrs. Biffis then transitioned into her role as an Educational Assistant in the Lower School, where she is inspired by the students on a daily basis. She enjoys watching them grow, learn and develop into passionate inquirers and aspires to make a difference in the lives of all the students she works with. Her education philosophy revolves around the idea that each student learns and develops uniquely, therefore each student should be given the opportunity and tools they need to reach their true individual potential. Mrs. Biffis enjoys the natural campus that SJK offers and also loves participating in physical activities and sports in her downtime. She resides in Kitchener with her husband and two daughters.
