Dr. Thanh-Thanh Tieu

Thanh-Thanh is a parent to two students who attend SJK: Nathaniel and Andrew Mollison. She is active on the Parents’ Association, currently serving in an executive position, and enjoys volunteering her time for school activities and initiatives.

Thanh-Thanh holds a PhD in social-developmental psychology, where her research expertise was in students’ postsecondary school experiences, including their transition from high school to university, and the impact of their participation in extracurricular activities. Truly passionate about the transformative power of education, Thanh-Thanh has taught part-time at Wilfrid Laurier University and previously held Chair positions at Conestoga College.

Thanh-Thanh, and her husband Mark Mollison, own and operate businesses in Waterloo Region, including Greenway Garden Centre, a retail greenhouse, butterfly conservatory and hobby farm, located just down Shantz Station Road from SJK.
