Ms. Monika Nachtman joined the SJK staff in 2001 and embraced the SJK community wholeheartedly, finding inspiration and support in her peers. Ms. Nachtman cites immigrating to Canada in 1992 as a significant moment in her life, as well as raising her two daughters with the help of the SJK community (she truly believes "it takes a village to raise a child"!). She holds the relationships she has established over the years with past and present SJK faculty members close to her heart, referring to them as her chosen family.
Ms. Nachtman is very passionate about education and feels it is the best gift you can give children because it has the power to change your life and opens the doors to different and new opportunities. This passion for education spurred her desire to work in a school environment.
