Ms. Megan Prosser

 

Ms. Prosser grew up in Guelph, Ontario and completed her studies at Nipissing University before embarking on her teaching career overseas. She found her place in the international community and spent over a decade teaching in the Middle East and Asia. She is grateful for her years abroad, as she was able to visit seven continents before returning home to Canada. 

 

Ms. Prosser is an avid hiker, having hiked Half Dome in Yosemite, Patagonia, Everest Basecamp, Carstensz Pyramid and Kilimanjaro. In addition to the landscape of the world, Ms. Prosser draws inspiration from her students and hopes to help them push their boundaries and take risks. She feels that as much as she’s the teacher in the teacher-student dynamic, she also learns from her students along the way. 

 

Ms. Prosser believes in building a classroom community where students feel confident, take risks and develop communications skills. She wholeheartedly appreciates the warm, welcoming environment of SJK and the support that the community provides for its members.
