Boarding Re-Imagined

We are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with St. Jerome’s University and the University of Waterloo that will result in the opening of an SJK student boarding facility in late August 2018. This is very exciting news for SJK’s international students who will now have the opportunity to live, learn and socialize as a community, in their very own campus and residence environment. Importantly, the development of our new boarding program aligns with the School’s strategic priority to enhance local, national and global partnerships with the intent of providing outstanding opportunities for our students. With a boarding program in place, SJK will be in a strong position to open its doors to a diverse international and domestic student community.

Our boarding program and the partnership with local universities is certainly unique in Canada and represents a collaborative effort with our international community, both students and parents, as well as our partners at the University of Waterloo and St Jerome's University.

The SJK Boarding program will be unlike any other in Canada, featuring a joint programming and staffing model provided by both SJK and the university that will include academic and social programs, available to all SJK students. This is boarding re-imagined and positions SJK as a leader and innovator in this highly competitive market.
