Celebration Garden

SJK’s 50th Anniversary is taking place in 2022. Throughout the year, we will be recognizing the extraordinary efforts and generous contributions made over the past 50 years by our founders, faculty, staff, and parents. Our incredible supporters were involved in SJK’s evolution from the two converted residences in Elora, to the warehouse on Phillip Street, to the transformation of the gravel pit that has become our beautiful campus in Breslau. 

To mark SJK’s 50th Anniversary and contribute to a legacy for those enjoying the next 50 years, the creation of a Celebration Garden is taking place on the grounds of the Chapel. The Celebration Garden will be a place to honour the past and create a space for students and alumni to enjoy and be recognized now, and in the future.

With your support, we would like to plant the garden in Spring 2022, in advance of the 50th Anniversary Weekend of Celebration from Friday, September 30 to October 1, 2022. 

Your gift to the Celebration Garden will fund trees, shrubs, benches, garden beds, paving stones, and other features. These items may also be funded directly and dedicated. A planting or furnishing may honour or applaud a milestone such as graduation or retirement. Or gifts may be made in memory of a friend or loved one. Plaques with the name of the individual(s) being honoured or remembered are available through these gifts.

The cost of creating the Celebration Garden is $50,000. All donations towards it are eligible for a receipt for income tax purposes. To learn more about how to donate, click here.
