SJK Parents' Association "Let's Connect Over Lunch" - JK/SK Parents (See Zoom Link)
The Parents’ Association will be hosting grade level virtual lunch gatherings over the next few weeks. These virtual events will give parents an opportunity to see and connect with other parents, along with being able to share ideas on how the PA can continue to build community during these virtual times.The plan for these lunch events is to separate the parent gatherings by appropriate grade levels (e.g., JK/SK). A zoom link will be added to each grade level so you can join on your lunch hour rather than during an evening time that may conflict with extracurricular activities or bedtimes for parents with younger children. If you have children in more than one grade, please feel free to join one or all to meet parents and connect.We are hoping to host more virtual events each month between now and the end of the year. The goal is to come together to continue to strengthen the SJK community that has been such a big part of what makes our school great. We welcome your input into potential events and we will share more about the role of the PA. It’s going to be nice to meet new families and see old friends.

Civvies Day - International Lunch and Cultural Clothing

- Friday, Feb. 25
- This day is to celebrate the diverse cultures that make our world great and the common cultures we share
- You are encouraged to wear something that reflects your heritage or something that celebrates our common Canadian culture
- Although money donated online will continue to go to SickKids Hospital, all physical donations brought to school next Friday will go toward supporting the Nepal Fund. SJK has supported two schools in Nepal for over 20 years with donations and service trips, and we continue to serve these schools in the best way possible even when we are unable to travel to Nepal. Please consider bringing a donation to school next Friday to support the Nepal Fund, even if you have already donated to the SickKids Foundation online.
