Ms. Mia Lazarevic was born and raised in Kitchener, Ontario and joined SJK in June 2023 as the Executive Assistant to the Head of School. After graduating with IB credits (Chemistry and Visual Arts), she graduated from Queen’s University in Kingston with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in applied economics. During her tenure at Queen’s University, Mia worked as a residence advisor, a cast member at Walt Disney World in Orlando, and participated in an exchange program at Lund University in the south of Sweden. After returning to the Waterloo region she worked as an assurance executive assistant at a large public accounting firm.

In her spare time Mia enjoys travelling, cooking, baking, gardening, swimming and all types of arts & crafts.
