Ms. Almeida joins us from MacLachlan College in Oakville where she held a variety of positions including classroom teacher, Lead of Personal, Social and Physical Education, and Director of International Studies. An experienced Primary Years Programme educator, with K-6 teaching qualifications, Ms. Almeida is passionate about the IB’s Primary Years Programme. She is also active outside the classroom having coached soccer, floor hockey, ultimate Frisbee, track and field, and softball for U10, U12 and U14 groups and led a variety of co-curricular activities including Caribou Math Contest, card club, craft club, running club, LEGO club. Ms. Almeida has an undergraduate degree, a Master's Degree in Child and Youth Studies, and a Bachelor of Education degree, all from Brock University.
