Ms. Elizabeth Baverstock was first attracted to SJK's natural campus where learning can be taken out of the classrooms and by the students' genuine desire to learn. She enjoys teaching in the school's close-knit learning community. Ms. Baverstock believes the purpose of education is for students to learn, explore and develop knowledge on how to live in our current and future world. She strives to create a safe environment and open atmosphere where students feel welcomed and free to explore all aspects of learning.
Ms. Baverstock provides students with a variety of learning strategies to build their understanding through inquiry-based learning and communication with other students. Her students inspire her to bring new experiences to the classroom. She is dedicated to helping her students reach their full potential by helping them discover their own gifts and abilities. She seeks to provide opportunities for her students to grow and take risks within the classroom.
