Mrs. Marda van Niekerk

Mrs. Marda van Niekerk was born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa. She completed her high school years and post-secondary degree at Stellenbosch prior to immigrating to Canada in 2000. She has also lived and worked abroad in England. Before Mrs. van Niekerk started her career in education, she worked at Microsoft Canada. Previously, she also worked in digital marketing and advertising.

Mrs. van Niekerk loves working with prospective students and parents and help guide them as they navigate choices about their kids’ educational journey. Assisting new students and families no matter where they are in their educational journey is her biggest reward. She has personally seen the difference the IB program can make to a student’s life. She is a proud mom of three students at SJK.
