SJK DP1 student Max D. contributes to IYPT 2019
The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 2019 as the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements (IYPT2019). To celebrate, the University of Waterloo decided to deconstruct the table into the years the elements were discovered. UWaterloo's Timeline of Elements project has brought together students from 118 schools in 28 countries. Each school has submited an original tile telling the discovery story for their element, from hydrogen to oganesson. SJK students created tile submissions that were voted on by faculty and students with DP1 student Max D.'s submission taking the overall vote. Well done to Max!
