Ms. Petra Hall assumed the role of Educational Technology & Systems Manager at SJK in September 2023. During her undergraduate studies in computer science at the University of Toronto, she co-authored one of the pioneering multimedia textbooks integrating video and interactive programming tutorials. Following a career hiatus to raise her family, Petra became a software consultant at KnowledgeQuest Systems. This role evolved into becoming the Database Coordinator at The Learning Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of public education. Petra's career then led her to Canada’s National Ballet School, where she initially managed donation tracking systems. Over the subsequent fifteen years, her responsibilities expanded to include the databases managing finance, fundraising, full-time students, community program registration, physiotherapy, and inventory management. When not immersed in her work, Petra enjoys reading, camping, and engaging in medieval reenactment activities.
