Mr. Andrew J. Keleher is an experienced educator with 26 years in education, two decades in the role of an administrator at schools in Western, Central, and Eastern Canada, and internationally. Mr. Keleher has 16 years of experience as a Head of School and is excited to join and lead our extraordinary School.
 
Mr. Keleher follows a student-centred approach, is committed to 21st Century learning strategies, and understands that students are inspired by inspired teachers. SJK’s values of community, collaboration and commitment are reflected in Mr. Keleher’s approach to leadership and are foundational to our
School’s mission to create meaningful and significant learning opportunities for our students that ignite a lifelong love of learning.

Mr. Keleher has a passion for educational travel, and his international experience and global mindedness reflect the principles of an International Baccalaureate education.

Mr. Keleher was raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, where he learned French and became fully bilingual. He earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees at St. Thomas University, and subsequently studied in Ontario at York University to obtain his Master of Education, with a specialization
in second language acquisition.

Mr. Keleher is dedicated to supporting teachers in their professional growth, fostering innovation, and the pursuit of excellence.
