Ms. Amelia Canto

Ms. Amelia Canto's career has been dedicated to community-building by engaging people in promoting and supporting their institutions. Her focus has been on education and healthcare where she has committed her energy and innovative spirit.

 

Born and raised in Cambridge (Galt), she attended the University of Waterloo and later assumed a fundraising role there, while also volunteering at alumni events as a photographer.  

 

She continued her career in fundraising, public relations and alumni affairs in Toronto and in Edmonton, Alberta before returning to Ontario, her home community.

 

Ms. Canto is thrilled to be in the Waterloo Region, and be a part of the tremendous growth and opportunity that has been gaining momentum over the years both at SJK and the surrounding communities.
