Dr. Brooke Brassard

Brooke Brassard joined SJK as the Associate Director, Communications & Digital Media in January 2022. Prior to joining SJK, she taught at the University of Waterloo and McMaster University. In 2021, realizing a passion for information technologies and librarianship, Brooke returned to school and earned a Master’s of Library and Information Science from the University of Western Ontario. As an experienced educator, she enjoys combining her skills in research, teaching, and publishing to help people solve problems and meet their information needs. Brooke’s goal is to connect SJK community members to critical resources and information through various communication technologies. Brooke has a Master of Arts in History in Art from the University of Victoria and a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from the University of Waterloo. She loves utilizing her training in historical research and religious diversity to capture, create, and share the stories from around campus that make SJK an inclusive, welcoming school.
