Ms. Lizzie Sartoretto

Ms. Sartoretto grew up in Kitchener, Ontario, and earned a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Western Ontario. Prior to joining SJK, she taught Grade 7 for several years with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. Throughout her teaching career, she has been committed to fostering student leadership through community involvement and action. She enjoys working with student leaders to identify opportunities for change within the school and broader community, and to organize service projects, initiatives, and events that make a positive impact. She values helping students discover their strengths, develop leadership skills, and find meaningful ways to contribute beyond the classroom.

Outside of school, Ms. Sartoretto enjoys biking, reading science fiction and fantasy novels, and spending time with her dog, Molly.
