SJK Athletes Shine at CISAA X-Country Championships
SJK's Sr. X-Country Team competed at the CISAA Championships in Port Hope on Wednesday, with each athlete putting everything they had on the line in their respective competition.
Leading the team was Anna B., who captured her 3rd CISAA XC title (out of 4) in high school competition; including her middle years' career, her tally is 5 out of 6 victories! Anna earned a spot on the line at the OFSAA Championships in Dundas, November 3. With SJK's field hockey team qualifying for OFSAA, Anna's participation at OFSAA XC is dependant upon the field hockey teams' results.
Fun Fact: 3 of our 9 CISAA competitors finished 33rd in their respective races, a feat that Ms. Regli will be taking back to the classroom in a pursuit to calculate the odds of this rare outcome.
