Mrs. Angie Ethier

PYP Teacher
Early Childhood Education (Conestoga College), B.A. (University of Waterloo), B.Ed. (Windsor University), OCT Certified
Member of Simcoe House

Mrs. Angie Ethier began her career in Early Childhood Education, supporting children with diverse learning needs. Inspired by the educators she worked alongside, she continued her studies and became a teacher. She joined SJK in 2008 and still enjoys driving down the SJK driveway each morning, taking in the beauty of Chalmers' Pond and the School’s expansive grounds. She values the opportunities students have to explore, whether canoeing on the pond, climbing on the fallen tree playground, or playing among the trees.

Mrs. Ethier believes that meaningful learning starts with student curiosity and choice. She encourages students to pursue their interests, ask questions, solve problems, and make connections that deepen their understanding of the world. One of the aspects she values most about SJK is its strong sense of community and the opportunity to watch students grow from their early years in Lower School into confident young adults.
