Ms. Lena Bell

Ms. Bell holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Education from Nipissing University. She is also a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT).

With over 14 years of teaching experience, Ms. Bell has taught in Ontario as well as internationally in the Czech Republic, Dubai, and Kuwait. She brings 12 years of overseas teaching experience, including 10 years in International Baccalaureate (IB) schools, along with two years at an IB private school in Ontario, where she worked in the Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Ms. Bell was drawn to SJK for its warm, inclusive culture and its genuine commitment to student growth. She values the collaborative environment among educators and the focus on supporting students both in and outside of the classroom.

Outside of school, Ms. Bell enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures. She is also an avid rugby fan and loves spending time with a good book, especially fantasy and historical fiction.
